2nd National Workshop
Machine Learning for Signal Processing and Big Data Analytics
08-09 October, 2016
Humans, machines and sensors collectively generate an enormous amount of data on a daily basis. The fact that much of this data (in the form of images, video, audio, text, sensor measurements and business transactions) is now accessible provides an opportunity to explore, analyze and extract previously unavailable and potentially highly useful information. There is unmet demand for data scientists and machine learning experts in the western economies that opens up great possibilities in the wide range of economic sectors including retail, manufacturing, education, healthcare, security and telecommunication.
Aim of this workshop is to introduce the fundamentals and concept of machine learning and big data analytics to the participants and to equip them a basic practical experience on which they can build their applications. The workshop also includes a few practical examples to give participants a direction for further research and development.
